About the Manufacturers Network
The Manufacturers Network is a management consultancy and education provider focused on improving productivity and performance in manufacturing organisations. We work from the shopfloor to the boardroom, supporting leaders and teams to deliver measurable improvement and build capability that lasts. Founded in 2021, the business brings together experienced manufacturing leaders, practitioners, and delivery teams with deep operational backgrounds. Our people have worked inside manufacturing organisations and understand the realities, pressures, and trade-offs leaders face every day.

Our Approach
Our work is built around one clear principle: capability before dependency.
We do not create reliance on external consultants. Instead, we focus on transferring knowledge, developing people, and embedding practical ways of working that enable organisations to sustain and build on improvements long after our involvement ends.
We support organisations through a combination of:
Assessment
Education and training
Coaching
Lean and Continuous Improvement activity
All delivered with a clear focus on productivity, performance, and return on investment.
Experience and Credibility
We have supported a wide range of leading manufacturing organisations across the UK and internationally, including global brands and complex, regulated environments.
Alongside this delivery experience, we work in partnership with globally recognised institutions and awarding bodies to ensure our programmes are rigorous, relevant, and respected.
These partnerships allow us to combine practical, real-world application with recognised frameworks and accreditation where it adds value.

What We Do
PRODUCTIVITY ASSESSMENTS
We assess manufacturing operations to understand the current state, identify constraints, and define a clear, prioritised roadmap for improvement. These assessments typically highlight opportunities delivering 15–20% productivity improvement.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
We deliver accredited and non-accredited programmes across Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Leadership. Our programmes are practical, project-based, and designed to deliver tangible business impact alongside learning.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Our leadership programmes are delivered by experienced manufacturing leaders and accredited through recognised frameworks. They combine academic rigour with practical application and are tailored to the realities of leading in manufacturing environments.
Lean and Continuous Improvement Engagements
We support organisations through focused improvement activity that engages people across the site, delivers immediate results, and builds internal CI capability.
COACHING AND ADVISORY SUPPORT
We work with boards, senior leaders, and site leadership teams to clarify direction, strengthen execution, and support the deployment of strategic priorities.
BEST PRACTICE LEARNING
Where appropriate, we design best practice learning experiences that allow leaders and teams to see high-performing operations first-hand and challenge what they believe is possible.
Our wider commitment
We are passionate about championing manufacturing as a sector.
Alongside our commercial work, we actively support initiatives that help young people and those not currently in education or employment see manufacturing as a credible, rewarding career path and a sector with a strong future. We developed the Future of Manufacturing Foundation, a registered charity - https://www.futureofmfg.co.uk/
