Education & Training
At the Manufacturers Network, education is designed to drive performance - not sit on a shelf. Our programmes are built to develop capability, support real improvement, and strengthen leadership in manufacturing environments. Learning is always connected to application, and application is always tied back to measurable outcomes. We work with organisations that want to build internal expertise, not dependency.
Our Approach to Education
Education works best when it is grounded in reality.
All our programmes are:
Manufacturing-specific
Delivered by experienced practitioners
Designed to be applied immediately in the workplace
We combine structured learning with coaching, project work, and improvement activity so that individuals and teams develop confidence, competence, and credibility.

Accredited Lean Training
We deliver Lean capability programmes accredited through the Lean Competency System (LCS), building structured continuous improvement expertise from foundation to advanced practitioner level.
Our programmes are led by experienced manufacturing practitioners and focus on practical application, measurable results, and embedding capability that strengthens performance long after the programme ends. Delegates have realised £100,000+ in performance improvements as part of their certification work.

Lean Six Sigma
Our Lean Six Sigma programmes develop deeper analytical and problem-solving capability, combining statistical tools with practical improvement methods relevant to manufacturing and operational environments.
Delivery is supported by coaching to ensure projects are well scoped, effectively delivered, and aligned to business priorities.
We deliver Yellow, Green and Black Six Sigma Programmes.
Leadership Development
We deliver leadership development programmes accredited by the Chartered Management Institute, from Level 3 through to Level 7.
Our programmes are delivered by experienced manufacturing leaders and focus on the behaviours, decisions, and execution required to lead effectively in manufacturing environments.

Accreditation and Credibility
We work with recognised institutions and awarding bodies where accreditation adds value and strengthens credibility. This ensures our programmes combine practical application with recognised standards and frameworks.
Education as Part of a Wider System
Education at the Manufacturers Network does not stand alone.
It is often integrated with:
Productivity assessments
Coaching and mentoring
Lean and CI engagements
Leadership and organisational development
This ensures learning is embedded, applied, and sustained over time.
